Wordpress Themes: I can’t take it!

I’ve gotten pretty good at this web standards “stuff.” I haven’t built a table-driven layout in over a year, and have a few decent sites out there that are totally handcrafted using valid XHTML and CSS. As well, I’ve finally figured out how to basically create a Wordpress theme from scratch, but frankly, there are so many good ones out there, I’m not sure I see the point. Yeah, sure, I want that indelible stamp of individuality. Yeah, I’d like my site to look like Jason Santa Maria’s, but the fact is, I just don’t have the minutes needed to do it fast enough before my opinion changes regarding what I’m building.

So having said that, today we’re using a slightly modified version of the Techno Blue theme, which, by the way, is a slightly modified version of the K2 Theme.

One day, I’ll build my Frankenstein, but in the meantime, my fancies flicker like a lit candle.

Enjoy the flavor of the week.
